Little Bison Program

As Rosemont’s Early Childhood PTA, the Little Bison program was created to expose RECPTA members and their children (4 years and younger) to the facilities, staff and educational programs of our neighborhood elementary school.

We hope you will come join us at our next Little Bison gathering! All scheduled programs start at 9:30 am and last one hour, with the exception of BOCO Little Oaks, which takes place at The Kessler Theater from 10-10:30am with no playground time beforehand.

    Come learn the joy of music through engaging curriculum at BOCO’s Little Oaks class at The Kessler Theater. Programming will be at 10-10:30am with no playground time before. See schedule above for Little Oaks dates.

FAQs

Where are the programs located?

All programs* are located at Rosemont Lower Campus School. Meet at the main entrance 5-10 minutes before the program starts, and a Rosemont staff member will escort you to your location inside the campus.

*Little Bison Nature Lovers is located at Twelve Hills Nature Center, and BOCO Little Oaks is located at The Kessler Theater.

Who are the program instructors?

Little Bison programs are led by various Rosemont teachers.

How long do the programs last?

All events are one hour long*. They start with 30 minutes of playground time, followed by 30 minutes of educational programming.

They start promptly at 9:30am. Due to school security measures, it is very important to arrive on-time.

*BOCO Little Oaks programming will be at 10-10:30am.

How much does it cost to attend?

We are thrilled to offer these programs for free!

What should my kids wear?

While Rosemont students wear uniforms, your children are perfectly fine to attend in their play clothes!

Do I need to register to attend?

You do not need to register to attend; simply show up! If programs start getting too big, we will implement a registration process and share it in the RECPTA newsletter, social media and #GroupMe.

Is my childcare provider able to attend?

Yes, absolutely! If you are unable to attend with your children, we will gladly welcome your childcare provider.
