Project Name: Recycled Box Towers and Tunnels

Lately I’ve tried thinking about different ways we can recycle card board box packaging. After purchasing new cosmetics I was admiring the boxes, so I brought them into the kitchen and we spent the afternoon painting them. Then, the next day we used them with their hotwheel cars and built cities for them to drive around and knock down. Then, after purchasing new school shoes, we decided to set up their train track and made “tunnels” out of the shoe boxes. They loved coloring the shoe boxes, and I cut holes on both ends for the tracks to fit through.

Kid Friendly Ham and Cheese Pinwheels

This is a very easy snack and something I do at the end of the week with leftover lunch meat and cheese. This can be turned into an adult version with upgraded ingredients such as honey mustard, pepperjack cheese, etc.
