Project Name: Recycled Box Towers and TunnelsAge Appropriate: 4 years and upSupplies: cosmetic boxes, shoe boxes, paints, markers, etc. Description: Lately I’ve tried thinking about different ways we can recycle card board box packaging. After purchasing new cosmetics I was admiring the boxes, so I brought them into the kitchen and we spent the afternoon painting them. Then, the next day we used them with their hotwheel cars and built cities for them to drive around and knock down. Then, after purchasing new school shoes, we decided to set up their train track and made “tunnels” out of the shoe boxes. They loved coloring the shoe boxes, and I cut holes on both ends for the tracks to fit through. This can be turned into an adult version with upgraded ingredients such as honey mustard, pepperjack cheese, etc. Enjoy!Refrigerated Pizza Dough Sandwich Ham Sliced Cheese Roll out the pizza dough Add one layer of cheese Add one layer of ham Roll up lengthwise so it is a long roll.
